The project extends its application to phalanx fractures, where precision and delicacy are paramount. The proposed Biofiligree plates for the fingers introduce high-definition lattice geometries tailored to the small scale and curvature of the hand’s bones. Following functional recovery, the potential to repurpose these plates into rings or hand jewellery symbolises the restoration of dexterity and celebrates the patient’s resilience through an object of lasting aesthetic and personal value.
